I've spent over a decade honing the craft of telling a true story, on a deadline, in a country I flew into that morning for news and documentaries.

Now I also bring that discipline to storytelling for brands, with a focus on editorially-driven content that's eye-catching on social feeds.

Whether it's leading a team lighting an interview with an A-lister, capturing a fleeting moment during a foot chase or attaching a camera to a hawk overflying London, I'm always looking to raise the bar creatively and technically.

I also cut select work where I can bring genuine added value as both shooter and editor.

For nine years I worked at CNBC International as a camera operator/video editor, covering news and feature stories across broadcast and digital platforms throughout Europe and further afield. I specialised in shooting and editing digital-first video for CNBC's website and social channels, and developed a multi-platform approach for stories combining live, pre-recorded and edited elements. That work took me from fashion week runways to police cordons to presidential residences, from the Arctic Circle to the Arabian desert — and produced several videos with 1M+ views on YouTube. On occasion I contributed to commercial work, and produced and reported editorial content.

Before CNBC, I filmed on Channel 5's Traffic Cops, embedding with road policing units in Yorkshire — filming high-speed pursuits and volatile situations, rigging in-car cameras, and handling legal and compliance requirements for the series.

I started my career on BBC series Fake Britain, The Sheriffs Are Coming and Oxford Street Revealed, learning the fundamentals of shooting for broadcast and solid journalistic practice. I also got to leave a creative mark on programmes broadcast on the UK's flagship channel, take photos used for iPlayer thumbnails and provided technical support for a multiple Avid edit suites.
