The Business of Elite Athletes

CNBC International — Digital video & 60' broadcast feature

I shot and edited this series looking at how Olympic athletes make money, featuring interviews with potential future stars, current competitors and retired athletes, which was later broadcast as a 60" feature episode. I used slow-motion filming, reconstruction sequences and drone shots to make the most of limited access to the interviewees.

I contributed location camerawork to CNBC's live output between 2016 and 2025 and currently utilise those skills for the CBC. I've covered anything from snap election announcements to unfolding terrorist incidents, broadcasting everywhere from inside 10 Downing Street to an offshore LNG storage facility, with a host of quarterly results interviews along the way.

Journey Through India

CNBC International — Digital video series & 60" broadcast feature

Back in 2018, I was privileged to embark on a whistle-stop tour of India whilst filming this travel documentary series. I shot A-camera, supervised the camera and sound crew, and tried to ensure our 18 Peli cases kept up with us as we toured five destinations across this vast country.
Memorable moments include standing in the Kolkata humidity filming through a kitchen window, having one opportunity to get a shot of the Dudhsagar falls as our sleeper train passed by, and experiencing the hustle and bustle of Azadpur Mandhi fruit market at daybreak.
